Meet Henry & Amanda

Henry and Amanda Hastings are the founders of Justice Reigns, an anti-trafficking ministry dedicated to exposing darkness, rescuing the oppressed, restoring survivors, and advancing justice through strategic partnerships and Kingdom-driven action.

In 2023, Henry and Amanda sensed a clear calling from the Lord to confront the injustice of modern-day slavery through the mandate found in Psalm 82:3–4:

“Give justice to the weak and the fatherless;
maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.
Rescue the weak and the needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”

This passage became the spiritual foundation for their work and the driving vision behind Justice Reigns—to see captives set free, trafficking networks dismantled, and survivors restored to wholeness.

Together, Henry and Amanda bring more than 40 years of combined pastoral ministry experience as ordained leaders who have served in both staff and senior leadership roles. Their ministry has long been centered on equipping believers to walk in the love, power, and authority of Christ to bring transformation in families, communities, and nations.

Henry’s calling to confront human trafficking was deeply shaped by his 14 years of service as a Green Beret. The Special Forces motto De Oppresso Liber, “to liberate the oppressed” continues to define his life’s mission to stand against injustice and bring freedom to those held in bondage. Henry holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Southern California and a Master of Theology (Th.M.) from Dallas Theological Seminary, equipping him to lead both strategically and spiritually in the fight against modern-day slavery.

Amanda Hastings carries a deep calling to see survivors of trafficking experience true restoration, healing, and redemption. With more than 20 years of pastoral ministry experience, she brings spiritual insight, compassion, and leadership to the restoration side of anti-trafficking work. Amanda is passionate about helping survivors reclaim their dignity, identity, and purpose, while also championing their voices and sharing their stories so that their testimonies of God’s goodness can inspire hope, healing, and freedom for others.

Together, Henry and Amanda also founded SMC Tribe (Shoot Move Communicate), a ministry focused on equipping men to walk in righteousness, sexual purity, and biblical masculinity—restoring the roles of husband, father, and protector within the family. They believe that when righteous men arise, darkness loses ground, including the demand that fuels human trafficking.

Through Justice Reigns, Henry and Amanda are building a growing network of ministries, investigators, advocates, and survivor-care organizations working together to dismantle trafficking networks and provide long-term restoration for survivors.

Their vision is a world where captives are set free, survivors are restored to wholeness, and justice reigns in every sphere of society.

Who We Are

Human trafficking is one of the greatest injustices of our time, enslaving millions of men, women, and children in systems of exploitation and abuse. At Justice Reigns, we believe the Gospel compels us not only to proclaim freedom but to actively confront the darkness that enslaves the vulnerable. We believe the Church must arise in both compassion and courage—bringing the light of Christ into the darkest places until captives are set free, survivors are restored to dignity and wholeness, and justice reigns.

Our Work

Our work is rooted in the mandate of Psalm 82:3-4, which calls the people of God to defend the vulnerable, rescue the oppressed, and deliver those held captive by wickedness. This calling echoes the mission of Christ Himself in Isaiah 61:1, where Jesus declared that He was sent to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom for the oppressed.

Why We Exist

Justice Reigns exists to carry that mission forward by exposing trafficking networks, supporting rescue operations, restoring survivors, and equipping the Church to stand for righteousness in a broken world. Through strategic partnerships with ministries, investigators, and advocates around the globe, we are working to dismantle systems of exploitation and build pathways of restoration for those who have been victimized.

Vision Statement

A world where captives are set free, trafficking networks are dismantled, survivors are restored to wholeness, and justice reigns in every sphere of society.

Mission Statement

Justice Reigns exists to combat human trafficking by exposing darkness, rescuing the oppressed, restoring survivors, and advancing justice through strategic partnerships, training, and Kingdom-driven action.

Our Philosophy

Human trafficking is a systemic evil sustained by spiritual darkness (traced back to 3200 BC with the Watchers from Genesis 6 and their covenant on Mount Hermon), cultural decay, economic exploitation, institutional failure, and moral compromise. Because the problem is multi-layered, the solution must be comprehensive, strategic, and transformative.

Justice Reigns operates from a Seven Mountain perspective, recognizing that trafficking networks flourish where influence structures are corrupted or disengaged. To dismantle trafficking at its roots, we engage every sphere of society, advancing justice not only through rescue, but through reformation, restoration, and righteous governance.

We believe justice does not reign where darkness is merely confronted, it reigns where truth, authority, and light are established.

A Seven-Mountain Strategy Against Trafficking

  • Trafficking preys on broken families, generational trauma, and isolation. We prioritize strengthening families, equipping parents, and restoring identity and belonging. This reduces the vulnerabilities traffickers exploit.

  • Ignorance is one of trafficking’s greatest allies. We invest in education, awareness, and specialized training for communities, leaders, and frontline responders. This empowers people to recognize, prevent, and disrupt trafficking activity.

  • Trafficking is fueled by spiritual darkness. We unapologetically confront it with spiritual authority, biblical justice, prayer, and discipleship—mobilizing the Church to move beyond awareness into action, protection, and governance.

  • Trafficking survives in secrecy. We leverage media to expose truth, confront lies, amplify survivor voices, and reshape cultural narratives. This breaks the silence that enables exploitation.

  • Trafficking is a business. We disrupt it economically by supporting ethical enterprise, partnering with businesses for survivor employment, and targeting the financial systems that enable exploitation.

  • Justice requires law, order, and accountability. We collaborate with law enforcement, legal advocates, and policymakers to dismantle trafficking networks, pursue prosecution, and advance laws that protect the vulnerable and punish perpetrators.

  • Culture shapes values. We support creative expression that restores dignity, communicates truth, and reclaims identity. This helps survivors heal and societies re-imagine justice, worth, and freedom.
